He added that, upon ascending the throne, he should take a cue from his late father, Oba Hassan Jimbo whose reign witnessed tremendous progress and development of Ipakodo community.

I am happy that somebody is succeeding my father, after the struggle of almost 19 years since his demise. As a family, we have decided to move forward. My advice to our new King is that he should be all-accommodating and continue to be a good listener we have known him to be. As a king, he is the father of all. I will also advise him to take the Ipakodo community to greater heights from where my father, Oba Hassan Jimbo left it.

We have agreed on how to move forward and we positive that the past wrangling will become a thing of the past in the history of Ipakodo community. Our new Kabiyesi is a listening monarch and we pray that his reign will be long and prosperous.
