A group of Ikorodu youths, under the aegis of Ikorodu Division Youth Volunteers have concluded plans to host what it tagged the 1st Ikorodu Division Youth Summit, which is billed to hold on 1st October, 2018 at the Ikorodu town hall.
According to the organizers, the Summit with the theme; Youth Inclusiveness in Community Development and Governance will be graced by about 500 youths, including representatives of youth groups across Ikorodu division who will participate in the historic summit.
Leading other eminent speakers and discussants at the summit is the Commissioner for Youth and Social Development in Lagos State, Hon Agboola Dabiri, the Guinness Book of World Record Attempt holder in Marathon reading, Bayode Treasures Olawunmi and Senior Pastor of one of Ikorodu’s Pentecostal and youth-friendly Church, Pastor Debola McPrince of the Builder and Makers Ministry.
Others are, Dr Fatai Abiodun-Abatan of the Department of Political Science, LASU, Mr Jimi Aina, Board Secretary, LIRS, Mrs Bolatito Babasola, Principal Counsel Bolatitio O. Babasola & Co and Amb. Patricia Okosodo, MD Golden Group of Companies.
Other speakers and discussants expected at the Summit include, Princess ‘Deroju Ladega of the Never Say Never Foundation, Mr Oke Godwin, an Economy Analyst, Comrade Michale Ogunsola, Coordinator YIAGA, Lagos State and Comrade Godbless Otubure, Coordinator NTYTR, Lagos State.
