Candidate of the opposition People’s Democratic Party in the 2019 Lagos State gubernatorial elections, Mr Jimi Agbaje has promised to rid Lagos State of what he tagged, its current state of diseases under the ruling APC.
Agbaje made the remark, shortly after emerging as the PDP candidate at last week’s primary conducted by the party in Lagos. Agbaje defeated his rival, Adedeji Doherty to clinch the party’s ticket for the 2019 governorship polls.
‘Whatever you see, if you look as Lagos today, there is disease. It is a major disease all over Lagos State and there is the need to free Lagos from that disease. That is our campaign mission, to free Lagos from disease’, he said.
Corroborating Jimi Agbaje’s position, Adedeji Doherty, the second runners up in the PDP governorship primary also vowed that Lagos will defeat APC in the state, come 2019.
Doherty disclosed this when pledging his support for Mr Jimi Agbaje with the promise to give him the needed support to defeat APC in the 2019 governorship election in the state.
