The Ikorodu Division Youth Movement has recorded a major feat in its effort to mobilize the youth population of the division, towards community development and collective growth. This follows the formal registration of the IDYM with the Corporate Affairs Commission.
In a press release, circulated online, the Executive Director of the group, Samson Bisiriyu stated that, ‘when the Youths in a community see reasons for unity of purpose, they gain a lot by fulfilling the requirements of community progress and human development’.

We are pleased to inform the general public most especially, the good people of Ikorodu Division, that Ikorodu Division Youth Initiative Movement (Promoter of Nottooyoungtorun Ikorodu Division) is now a corporate entity under the Cooperate Affairs Commission (CAC) of Federal Republic of Nigeria and the 1st indigenous registered Youth Movement in Lagos State.
Vision: To be the most influential and outstanding indigenous Youth voice organization within Ikorodu Division and Lagos State .
Mission: Consistently and constantly re-orientating the Youth in contributing to community development, promoting Youth empowerment through a networking platform; closing gaps between the traditional institutions, political actors and stakeholders, business magus and the Youth.

We strongly believe that the unity and the voice of the Ikorodu Division Youth can’t be over emphasized in addressing the current social, economic and political setback in our dear division and as a movement that is committed to finding a lasting solution to the above challenges for the progress of the Ikorodu Division and generations unborn.
We use this medium to appreciate all our fathers, mothers, senior Youths, well wishers, supporters, volunteers, members on the platform, and mentors across Ikorodu Division and beyond for your love, trust, understanding and support up- till this level. As progressive, we really count on you for more cooperation, support, understanding and contributions towards the progress of our youth and Ikorodu Division as we move forward.
