Speaking on the rationale behind dedicating her founder’s day anniversary to praising God, Dr Mrs Beauty Obodo, proprietress of the school noted that, ‘sincerely,  I don’t see us doing something else on a day like this, other than celebrating the goodness and greatness of God to us as a school in the last 14 years. We have passed through many challenges in the past 14years but God has stood solidly behind us as an institution. What else can we do today, than to celebrate Him, through our praise, just one day in an entire year. That is the whole essence of today’s event’.

‘We have not buried any of our students, neither have we had reasons to pay condolence visits to our parents. Our students excel in their examinations, particularly external exams, including WAEC’, she added.

Similarly, we also have a tradition of appreciating our outstanding teachers and members of staff on this special day, through the presentation of awards, gifts and cash prizes. This is our own little way of motivating and encouraging excellence, loyalty and dedication to duty’, she concluded.

The special praise programme also featured celebrated RCCG Gospel Act, Wemimo Taiwo, who led the parent’s choir in an electrifying and spirit-filled praise session that made students and parents alike to keep asking for more.

The event climaxed with the presentation of gifts, awards and cash prizes to deserving and outstanding members of staff by the proprietress, Dr Beauty Obodo.
