PRINCESS FOLASHADE OBA, HON. OLA ANIMASHAUN, OTHER DIGNITARIES TO GRACE IKODASS-ELLA NAN T.V SPELLING BEE & SCHOOLS GOT TALENTS COMPETITION

Barely 24 hours to the IKODASS –Ella Nan TV Spelling Bee and Schools Got Talents competition among schools in Ikorodu, organizers of the educational cum entertainment event has reeled out names of prominent Ikorodu personalities that will grace the competition.

Speaking to Ikorodu Oga Radio, the event host, Mrs Fowoke Adekoya, popularly known as Aunty Fowoke disclosed that Princess Folashade Olabanji Oba Vice Chairman, Ikorodu local government and Hon. Ola Animashaun, a former Member of the Lagos State House of Assembly are some of the dignitaries that will grace the event.

According to her, the competition was organized in conjunction with IKODASS as a way of giving primary and secondary school children a unique opportunity to participate in the annual Ikorodu Oga Day celebration, through fun and learning. The IKODASS-Ella Nan Spelling Bee & Schools Got Talents Show is one of the series of events and activities preceding the aanul Ikorodu Oga Day celebration.

Speaking in the same manner, Mr Salami Taiwo Awolaru, Chairman of the planning committee noted that, ‘This programme is organized by Ella Nan Show in conjunction with IKODASS. The competition is meant to identify, showcase and reward school children with different talents as part of activities for this years celebration’.

He added that, this year’s competition, being the second edition promises to take the competition to a higher level.

The competition, which is slated for Wednesday, 22nd October, 2019 at Regal Hall, Olu-odo estate, Ikorodu will see children in compete in different schools competing in activities like singing, spellings, poem recitations and playing of instruments.

We gathered that outstanding students shall be rewarded with branded gift items and other consolation prizes. Registration fee per participating pupil or students is N800.00
