BREAKING: GOV. SANWOOLU SHUTS MARKETS, STORES IN LAGOS FOR 7 DAYS OVER COVID-19

Lagos State Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwoolu has ordered the closure of all markets and stores in Lagos State foe the next 7 days.

Governor Sanwoolu gave the order at a press conference today. The governor said that the decision was necessary to curtail the spread of the dreaded corona virus diseases in the state.

The governor’s directive which was circulated via a 36 seconds video states that, ‘all markets and stores, except those selling foods, drugs or water, drugs, medicine, medical equipments and other related essential life saving products and daily needs are hereby directed to close, effective from Thursday 26th March 2020 for the next 7 days’.

The governor’s directive is coming on the heels of four (4) new cases of the disease announces by the NCDC.
