IKORODU WEST AND NORTH LCDAS MUSLIM COMMUNITIES RECEIVE HON S.O.B AGUNBIADE’S RAMADAN IFTAR PACKS, CLERICS COMMEND LAWMAKER’S BENEVOLENCE

In line with his earlier promise to continue with his annual Iftar program, in spite of the ongoing pandemic, Hon Sanai Agunbiade has started the distribution of food packages to Muslim faithfuls in Ikorodu.

The distribution which started from Ikorodu West, saw the Chief Imam of Ikorodu West, Alhaji Aredegbe Kosoko, receiving the food packages on behalf of over 500 Muslims households.

The Chief Imam in his speech thanked Agunbiade for remembering fasting Muslims at a time like this, saying only few people with Iman will do this with the current state of COVID -19 crisis facing the Nation and the World at the moment.

The distribution team, later moved to Ikorodu North to also hand over the 500 packages to the Muslim community in Ikorodu North through their Chief Imam, Alhaji Lamina EniijaOba, who stated that nothing like this gesture has ever happened to the Muslim Community in the LCDA. The Imam prayed that God In his Mercy will guide Hon. Agunbiade to do more for the Muslims, Ikorodu Constituency 1 and Lagos State at large.

SOB’s distribution team thanked the Islamic leaders for receiving them, promising that Hon. Agunbiade will continue to do more with the Mandate given to him by the good people of Ikorodu Constituency 1.

It was announced that the team will move to the Muslim Communities of Ikorodu Central on Thursday to do the same.

Also, we were reliably informed that the COVID- 19 relief packs meant for Vulnerable people irrespective of religion, which is the phrase 2 of the ongoing palliative measure championed by the Majority Leader of the Lagos Assembly, Hon. SOB Agunbiade, for his constituents, will follow afterwards.
