Wife of the Member, representing Ikorodu federal constituency at the House of Reps, Mrs Jumoke Benson has charged Ikorodu division women to turn out en-masse and vote for candidates of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC in the forthcoming 2019 general elections, at the state and federal level.
Mrs Benson made this call at the December distribution of free foods, dubbed I-Care Food Bank to the indigent members of the Ikorodu division on Saturday, 15th December, 2018.
She stated that, it is doing this that will guarantee the people of the dividends of democracy from the ruling party.
Over 500 indigent from various parts of Ikorodu federal constituency, comprising of widows, the unemployed, physically challenged and less-privileged residents of the division benefited from the large heart of the federal lawmaker and his wife.
The I-Care Food Bank is a monthly free food distribution scheme, initiated by Hon Babajimi Benson in 2016 To mark the annual World Food Day. The I-Care Food Bank has been running on a monthly basis since then.
