As the 2023 general elections campaign and permutations gather momentum, a member of the Green Chamber, Hon Jimi Benson has advised Ikorodu constituents to ensure they vote for only candidates that can add value to their lives.
Hon Benson who is also the Chairman, House of Reps Committee on Defence gave the advise on the sideline of the flag-off ceremony of a road project he facilitated at Majidun-Ogolonto, Ikorodu.
Benson, a two-term member of the House of Reps spoke exclusively to Ikorodu Oga Radio at the event.
Speaking on his new year message to his constituents, Benson advised that, ‘they should be hopeful, because 2022 is going to be a very critical year’.
‘We are going to be selecting our representatives both presidential, gubernatorial, Assembly, the House of Representatives and Senate. We also pray that they will select and elect people that will add value to Nigeria, Lagos State and Ikorodu Division as a whole’, he added.
The Ikorodu born federal lawmaker concluded by stating that, as a beacon of responsible representative and hardwork, he would not expect Ikorodu voters to settle for less in choosing new representatives come 2023.
