Abdul-Azeez Abdulrahman, Lagos State One-Day Governor and winner of the 2024 Spelling Bee Competition is set to be hosted to a Grand Home -Coming reception hosted in his honour by the Executive Chairman of Ikorodu Local Government, Hon Wasiu Adeshina tomorrow , Monday.
Abdul-Azeez who will resume office tomorrow as Lagos State Governor at the Governor’s Office, Alausa, Ikeja would be meeting with top State Government functionaries after which he will perform some official State functions, as expected of his office.
The Senior Secondary School 3 student of Oriwu Senior Model College, Ikorodu would subsequently pay an official ‘working’ visit to the Ikorodu Local Government Secretariat. He will be received by the Executive Chairman, Hon Adeshina and his cabinet as well as members of the council’s legislative arm.
He will later be hosted to a Grand Reception at the Ultra-modern Council Hall by Hon. Adeshina and his team as a an ambassador of the Council.
Hon. Adesina disclosed that the One-Day Governor is a good Ambassador of the local Government hence the need to formally host him.
