2025: ADESHINA SET TO COMMISSION FOUR NEW ROADS, COMPLETE LEGISLATIVE BUILDING, CHAPEL, OTHER ON-GOING PROJECTS

Less than one week into the new year, the Executive Chairman Ikorodu Local Government, Hon Wasiu Adeshina has pledged to hit the ground running.

The hardworking Council boss, while addressing hundreds of staffs at the Council’s New Year Inter-Religious Prayer Session held at the Council Secretary on Monday vowed to sustain the tempo of Infrastructural development drive he embarked upon in the new year.

‘Even though, we have less than six months to the end of this administration, we will continue to work harder towards delivering democracy dividends for the good people of Ikorodu Local Government’, he said.

‘Very soon, the local government is going to commission Adekayaoja – Solomade Street. This will be followed by the commissioning of Ita-elewa – Ajina-Itunmaja, Sanni Arowolo Roads and Dada Street within the first quarter of this year’.

He further announced that work will soon commence on the resurfacing of Eleshin Road, Nurudeen Owolabi and Osholigbehin Streets among others’.

He equally used the opportunity to announce that work on the on-going construction of the Council Legislative Chamber and Chapel will gain more momentum towards meeting the set completion deadlines.

Earlier, Adeshina expressed his appreciation to the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, leadership of APC in Lagos State and particularly in Ikorodu Division, led by Prince Abiodun Ogunleye for giving him and his team the rare opportunity to serve.

Speaking on the importance of starting the new year with prayers, Adeshina stated that, God was an important factor in the success of any organization.

‘Whatever we’re doing, it’s God who directs us, so it is very important to begin the year with this prayer session’. he noted.
