LNSA INAUGURATES SOLAR POWER SYSTEMS FOR ITS OFFICES IN ALL 57 LG/LCDAS, DISTRIBUTES WORK TOOLS TO OPERATIVES

The Lagos State Neighbourhood Safety Agency (LNSA) has provided solar systems for its 57 Local Governments and Local Council Development Areas to enhance service delivery.

The solar systems were installed to ensure 24 hours of uninterrupted power supply to mitigate the incessant power outages experienced mainly due to activities of vandals.

The inauguration of the power systems coincided with the distribution of more work tools, including binoculars with night vision capabilities, flashlights, Intelligence pen recorders, and megaphones to enhance their community engagement programmes.

In a short speech delivered at the inauguration, the General Manager of the Lagos State Neighbourhood Safety Agency, Prince (Dr.) Ifalade Oyekan, FISN, warned the officers to ensure all government properties under their watch are well managed and cared for.

“Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, in fulfilment of his promise as enshrined in the THEMES Plus Agenda, has shown unalloyed commitment to the safety and security of residents and visitors to Lagos by investing heavily in this Agency and all others. Your job is to deliver world-class services to the people and maintain the gadgets purchased for your use with taxpayers’ money.,” he stated.
