Few months to the end of the incumbent Local government administration in Ikorodu Local Government, led by the Executive Chairman, Hon. Wasiu Adeshina, the administration has been scored high for its huge investment in the education sector of the Council.
The commendation was given yesterday by a leading Ikorodu Local Government Chairmanship aspirant, Com. Japhet Odesanya during the official presentation of cash prizes to winners of the annual Ikorodu Local Government Inter-School Debate Competition, sponsored by the Council.
Japhet, who is also a former Secretary to the Local Government in his brief remarks at the event stated that the incumbent administration has done so much for the Council area, particularly in the area of education, citing the sponsorship of the Inter-School Debate Competition as a reference.
‘Hon. Adeshina has really done so much in the development of the education sector in Ikorodu Local Government. Today’s event is one of the numerous testaments to his commendable strive in the sector and we commend him. This is a wonderful thing the Chairman has done and it is marvelous in our sight’, Japhet stated.
