EXCITEMENTS AS EWEYE OF ISIU, OBA DAVID RAJI BALOGUN COMMISSIONS PHASE 1 LUCKY FIBRE – ERIKORODO-ODONGUNYAN LINK ROAD, FACILITATED BY REP BENSON

The entire Lucky Fibre-Erikorodu-Odongunyan area of Ikorodu North and its adjoining communities were full of excitement yesterday as the Eweye of Isiu Land, Oba David Raji Balogun commissioned the phase 2 of the Link road connection over 99 communities and about 300 CDAs within Ikorodu North LCDA.

The road project, facilitated by Rep Babajimi Benson, Chairman, House of Reps Committee on Defence is meant to connect Lucky Fibre, Erikorodu and other adjoining communities along Itoikin-Ijebu-Ofe Road, to Odongunyan along the newly rehabilitated Sagamu Road, Ikorodu.

According to Benson, the official commissioning of the Erikorodo-Odogunyan link road in Ikorodu North LCDA was a significant infrastructure project which aims to decongest the Ikorodu-Itokin road and enhance the quality of life for residents along the axis.

He however appealed to the residents to reciprocate the good gestures through continued support for the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

The Executive Chairman of Ikorodu North LCDA, Builder Adebisi Adeola Banjo in his brief remarks commended Benson for bringing succour to resident of the area by facilitating the road projects.

Banjo equally thanked Benson for facilitating other Numero projects to the LCDA, namely 13 Eyita link roads, Erunwen Road among other projects he has attracted to the area.

The Eweye of Isiu, Oba David Raji Balogun in his own remarks appreciated Benson for providing responsible representation to the good people of Ikorodu Federal Constituency.

Speaking on behalf of the CDAs and residents of the area, Com. Oladele Miftau Winjobi, Chairman of Oladeinde Joint CDA, comprising 14 CDAs along Lucky Fibre and Erikorodu axis expressed his excitement at the commissioning of the road during his tenure.

The community leader narrated how he reached out to Rep Benson for his intervention on the road, describing the formal commissioning as a dream come true for him and reside of the area.

Important DIGNITARIES that graced the formal commissioning included the GAC members, led by Prince Abiodun Ogunleye, Asiwaju Olorunfunmi Basorun, Senator Adeseye Ogunlewe and Eweye of Isiu, Oba Olukayode David Raji.

Others were, Special Adviser to the Governor on Rural Development, Hon. Nurudeen Agbaje, Members, Lagos State House of Assembly, Ikorodu Constituency I and II, Hon. Gbolahan Ogunleye and Hon. Moshood Aro, Council Chairmen, led by Chairman Ikorodu Local Government, Hon. Wasiu Adeshina and numerous party and community stakeholders.
