Ikorodu breathes a Fresh Wave, as Azeez Lamina Oshoala (A.L.O) declares intention to run for Ikorodu Local Government Chairmanship
Under the umbrella of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
Azeez Lamina Oshoala (A.L.O) has declared his intentions to run for the office of the Ikorodu Local Government in the 2025 Local Government Elections.
In his declaration speech, presented at his campaign headquarters in Ikorodu, A.L.O says his intention to run was born purely out of passion for his place of birth and his passion to serve.
He identified the challenges of Ikorodu, namely Traffic Congestion, Crime, Inadequate Infrastructure, Environmental Degradation amongst other things his administration intends to tackle if elected into office. He emphasized on his gentle approach to politics and pledged not to make it a ‘do or die’ affair.
In his freshly released manifesto, A.L.O promises Fresh Waves through Ikorodu, focusing on Quality Life, Infrastructure and Facilities, revitalization of the Economy, Environmental Protection and Sustainability and Empowerment.
In his words ‘I am intelligent, naturally curious with strong analytical abilities. To sustain a business in the largely unpredictable business environment of Nigeria for seventeen unbroken years, speaks volume of my sense of purpose, hardworking nature and consistency. I will deploy all of my competences to make Ikorodu work for all’, he promised.
In his request to the entire Ikorodu populace, Azeez Lamina Oshoala said ‘I humbly solicit for your support and endorsement as the choice candidate for the Ikorodu Local Government Chairmanship seat. I promise to bring about a more prosperous, organized and fulfilling town that we all would be proud to call home’.
Born almost 40 years ago, Azeez Lamina Oshoala is the CEO of Waves Media Limited, an accomplished entrepreneur, fondly called Waves by all and sundry. Azeez boasts of about two decades of experience in journalism and public service.
Azeez has a track record of excellence. A Multiple award winner, self-motivated, goal oriented and a hardworking young man. He holds two master’s degree from Rome Business School, Italy and Valencia International University, Spain.
Besides being known as the publisher of Waves Magazine – A Youth-Oriented Magazine distributed for free, Azeez Lamina Oshoala hosts Waves Gist Zone as well as Waves Plus TV.
Having served for twenty years in public service, Azeez rose through the ranks to become a Senior Public Affairs Officer while doubling as Chief Press Secretary to the Chairman, Ikorodu North LCDA.
Azeez is happily married with beautiful children.
