Hon Toyin Gafar Bolowotan, an aspirant for the Ikorodu Constituency 1 seat of the Lagos State House of Assembly in the forthcoming 2019 general elections has disclosed that the desire to put smiles on the faces of the people of Ikorodu Constituency 1 was the inspiration behind his desire to run for the Ikorodu Constituency 1 seat of the Lagos State house of assembly.
Bolowotan made this known when making a brief remark as the Guest of Honour at the Lagos State House of Assembly Ikorodu Constituency 1 ‘Let’s Talk’ political discussion programme, organized by The Factor Ltd News
The frontline APC house of assembly aspirant stated that he would discharge his duties with honesty, progress and community development, if given the opportunity to serve as member, representing Ikorodu constituency 1 at the house of assembly in 2019.
While reeling out some of his private community development initiatives in the past, Bolowotan disclosed that 70% of his company’s 104 employees, Prime Signs Ltd are indigenes of Ikorodu. He also added that the company was moved from Lagos to Ikorodu through his ability to lobby and convince other board members on the serenity and hospitable nature of the people.
On his philanthropic activities, Bolowotan revealed that he is a regular benefactor of many stranded patients at the Ikorodu general hospital, whose hospital bill he foots on a monthly basis, without knowing them in person. He challenged anyone who is in doubt of his claim to visit the general hospital for confirmation of his claims.
Hon Bolowotan added that so far, he has been able to provide accommodation support to many homeless family in Ikorodu. He also mentioned the case of a young and promising football star in Ikorodu who now lives abroad with his family, through his benevolence.
The proprietor of Bolowotan football club promised to renew the hope of Ikorodu constituents as their representatives if elected in 2019, through his campaign team, RED Pact, which stands for Renewed hope, Education and Development.
