As the countdown to year 2022 gets closer, Africa’s leading transport company, Primero Transport Services Limited, operators of the Lagos BRT services have promised to imporove on its service delivery in the new year.
Making this promise is the Managing Director of the transport company, Mr Fola Tinubu.
Tinubu made the disclosure on the sideline of a Media-Community Stakeholders meeting in Ikorodu tagged, Summit of Synergy (SoS), organised by an Ikorodu based media outfit, the Ikorodu News Network (INN).
Speaking in an exclusive chat with Ikorodu Oga Radio, the company boss stated that,
‘We are revamping our buses, there is going to be more buses in the new year. We will add about 300 buses to the current fleet of buses. We are revamping about 300 of the buses that has been down.
We want to move people fast, we don’t want people to stay long on the queue. We don’t want commuters to stay longer than 10 minutes, starting from the new year’, he added.
He concluded by assuring commuters that many more new things would be unveiled by the company in the new year.
Earlier, Mr Fola Tinubu had advised community media practitioners to make themselves relevant in the community by serving residents with important news and information relevant to them.
