As the current economic hardship in the country bites harder, about 500 vulnerable residents of Ikorodu Federal Constituency can now heave a sigh of relief as they received food supplies from the iCare Foundation Food Bank today.

The iCare food bank is a monthly food palliative outreach sponsored by Member, representing Ikorodu Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives to being succour to the less privileged across Ikorodu Division.

Benson, who is also the Chairman, House Committee on Defence initiated the food bank in 2016, to bring relief to vulnerable members of his constituency.

The federal lawmaker had declared that no member of his constituency deserved to go to bed hungry, hence the launch of the Food Bank.

The monthly food support initiative has now become a major source of succour to the less privileged members of Ikorodu Division.
