ACCOUNTANT-GENERAL: SENATOR ABIRU FELICITATES WITH BABATUNDE OGUNJIMI, EXPRESSES CONFIDENCE IN HIS ABILITY TO STABILIZE NATION’S FISCAL POLICY

The Chairman, Senate Committee on Banking, Insurance and Other Financial Institutions, Senator Tokunbo Abiru, representing Lagos East Senatorial District has extended his warm congratulations to the newly appointed Accountant-General of the Federation, Mr Shamseldeen Babatunde Ogunjimi.

Ogunjimi who is an indigene of Ikorodu was appointed by the President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR upon the expiration of the tenure of the immediate past Accountant General, Dr (Mrs) Oluwatoyin Sakirat Madein.

Abiru, who is a kinsman of the new appointee expressed confidence that Ogunjimi’s appointment will further enhance fiscal discipline, ensure the efficient management of public resources, and strengthen the financial stability of our great nation.
