The cloud across the entire Ikorodu Local Government council is currently moody over the sudden demise of one of the Council’s cabinet member, Late Hon Mrs Olaide Adebisi, who until her death was the Supervisor for Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation (WAPA).
Though, the circumstances surrounding her death are still sketchy, Adebisi, it was gathered died after a brief illness.
Since the news of her demise broke out yesterday, the atmosphere in the Council has been very cold as the Executive Chairman, Hon. Wasiu Adeshina we were reliably informed was devastated by the news and has been in mourning mood.
Expectedly, her colleagues in the Council’s Exco who were also caught unawares by the sad occurrence have equally been wearing gloomy looks.
Ditto for members of the Legislative Arm of Ikorodu Local Government, led by Hon Adebola Adebowale.
Members of staff are also not left out as many of them struggle to come to terms with the unfortunate reality.
Many of the Council political office holders and members of staff have taken to the social media and other platforms to express their condolences on the demise of their late colleague.
