On Saturday, 3rd April, a retinue of Princes and Princesses of the Anoko-Ogbonyari Royal Family stock of Ikorodu, Lagos State paid a historic visit to one of their own, Prince Adebowale Ogayemi Adefolayiga, who was recently installed as the Lisa of Ikorodu.
The visit to the new Lisa was customary as he observes the statutory 14-day seclusion at the Iga Lisa Compound at Itun Lisa in Itun-nla in Ikorodu.
Speaking on behalf of the delegation, the Olotu-General of Anoko-Ogbonyari Royal Family of Ikorodu, Prince Jokotade Ogunbiyi congratulated the Lisa on his installation, while praying for his long and successful reign.
He equally expressed appreciation to the Ayangburen of Ikorodu, Oba Engr Kabiru Adewale Shotobi for considering Prince Adebowale for the exalted position.
In his brief remarks, the Lisa of Ikorodu, Prince Adebowale Ogayemi Adefolayiga expressed his delight and thanked the family members for identifying with him, through the visit.
He equally assured them that he would be a good ambassador of the Anoko-Ogbonyari Royal Family.
Among the visiting family members was the Olori-Ilu of Fojege-Ajabiogofa Town, Prince Tajudeen Adebola Akinyemi, Olotu Ogbonyari Royal Family, Arc. Otunba Taiwo Akintunde Kara and Founder & CEO of Ikorodu Oga Radio, Om’oba ‘Peju Akinyemi.
