Ikorodu Division has lost one of its elder-statesmen and community leaders who was the Apase of Ikorodu, Engr Lukman Ishola. He passed on today.
He was a retired Chief Engineer with PZ Cussons and was also the Apase of Shamseldeen Mosque, Ikorodu.
Until his death in the early hours of today, he served Ikorodu Division meritoriously in many capacities. He was the Chairman, Liaison and Monitoring Committee of the Ikorodu Division Peace Initiative (IDPIL).
He was also a one-time Governing Council Member of the Federal University of Technology Akure (FUTA).
He will be buried tomorrow according to Islamic rites.
