CONFERENCE 57 CONGRATULATES FIRST FEMALE SPEAKER OF LAGOS STATE HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY, RT. HON. MOJISOLA LASBAT MERANDA, SEEKS COLLABORATION

The Conference 57 of Local Government and Local Council Development Area Chairmen in Lagos State has sent a hearty congratulatory message to the newly elected Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Mojisola Lasbat Meranda, on her historic emergence as the first female Speaker of the esteemed House.

The group, an umbrella body of all Lagos State Local Government Chairmen sent the Felicitations in a message signed by the Chairman of the Conference, Hon. Alabi Kolade David and the Public Relations Officer, Bldr. Olusesan Daini.

The message read in part, ‘This remarkable milestone reflects not only your personal dedication, competence, and unwavering commitment to service but also the progressive ideals and inclusive governance ethos that our state represents’.

‘As you assume this critical role as the head of the state legislature, we trust in your capacity to deliver robust legislative leadership that meets the expectations of Lagosians, fosters development, and upholds the principles of democracy. The entire state, your colleagues in the Assembly, and we at the grassroots level look forward to a tenure defined by impactful policies, collaborative governance, and visionary leadership’.
