Rep Babajimi Benson has again expressed his commitment to the welfare of the good people of Ikorodu Federal Constituency.
Benson stated this on Wednesday on the sidelines of the distribution of solar home systems to some beneficiaries.
‘I finally got the delivery of palliative rice the President, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu he gave us in December.There was a hiccups with the contractor and the agency. Hopefully, before Ramadan and during the lent we would be distributing that as well’, he revealed.
JB as he is fondly called equally assured his constituents that the President Bola Tinubu-led Federal Government and Lagos State Government would live up to the expectations of the masses.
He therefore appealed to residents to continue to bear with the government, as the current hardship can be likened to that of a woman going through labour pain. He assured that there was light at the end of the tunnel.
Ikorodu Federal Constituency will still get more infrastructures, people-oriented bills and palliatives.
‘This shows that the President is taking very very hard decisions which any other past Presidents were scared to take. This is the reason for the current hardships being experienced in the short run’, he submitted.
