As Christian faithfuls across the world celebrates Easter, commemorating the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ from the death, the Senator, representing Lagos East Senatorial District, Senator Tokunbo Abiru has extended greetings to Christians in the Lagos East Senatorial District.
Abiru, who is the Chairman of the Southern Senators’ Forum admonished residents to embrace peace and harmony during the celebration.
He equally encouraged Nigerians to continue to show solidarity and understanding with the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu-led administration, assuring them that the federal government policies will soon yield expected positive results.

extend my very warm Easter greetings to our Christian brothers and sisters in Lagos East Senatorial District and across Nigeria. As we commemorate the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, may we reflect on the profound significance of this season and strive to live in peace and harmony with all, guided by the teachings of the Holy Scriptures.
As a leader, I share in your concerns and challenges. However, I believe that with collective effort and continued support, we can overcome these obstacles and build a stronger, more prosperous nation.
I urge patience and understanding as the administration’s critical reforms and policy decisions, led by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, begin to yield positive results across sectors.
May this Easter season renew our hope, strengthen our unity, and inspire a collective commitment to national progress.
