The Eminent Persons of Ikorodu Division EPID yesterday honoured the Director-General of I-Care Foundation, Mayor Deen Sanwo-Ola with a special Recognition Award.
The award, according to the Chairman of the 2024 Ikorodu Division General Assembly, Alh Babatunde Tajudeen Rotinwa was meant to recognize Sanwoola’s contribution towards the development of Ikorodu Division, both as an individual and as a Political Strategist.
The former Chairman, Lagos State Local Government Service Commission noted that the Award was also meant to celebrate Sanwoola’s recent appointment as Executive Assistant to Lagos State Governor on Parking Authority and wished him a successful tenure of office.
Similarly, a Retired Lagos State Head of Service and Vice Chairman of the 2024 Ikorodu Division General Assembly Planning Committee, Prince Adesegun Ogunlewe, who joined Rotinwa in presenting the award congratulated Sanwoola on his well-deserved recognition and admonished him to move closer and work with EPID to move Ikorodu Division forward.
In his brief remarks, Sanwoola expressed appreciation to the organisers of the Award and promised to continue to strive for the good of Ikorodu Division.
He was joined at the presentation by Hon Musibau Alejo, Supervisor for Agric and Chieftaincy Ikorodu Local Government and Hon Jibike, Supervisor for Women and Poverty Alleviation, Ikorodu West LCDA among other well-wishers.
