
A total of 40 Ikorodu women who went through a 3-day entrepreneurship training sponsored by Ikorodu Local Government today received their certificates of participation, after three days of intensive training.
In his brief remarks at the closing ceremony, Adeshina charged the participants to ensure that they put the knowledge and exposure they received from the training to profitable use to better themselves and the community in general.

He noted that the exercise was not just a jamboree but an opportunity to add value to the Council area through their business ventures.
Concluding, Adeshina equally promised to support some of the participants with funding and patronage in order to assist them find their feet.
The participants who were exposed to the diverse areas of Entrepreneurship and the peculiar challenges.

The Lead Facilitator, Professor Olabisi Yusuf noted that the participants were also exposed to the volatility of entrepreneurship with a view to enhancing their capacity for resilience.
She expressed confidence in the ability of the graduants to make a success out of their individual businesses based on their renewed capacity.

The graduation event was witnessed by prominent members of the administration namely, Leader of the House, Hon. Adebowale Adebola, Ikorodu Division Women Leader who also doubles as Special Adviser to the Executive Chairman on Women Affairs, Alhaja Rashidat Bello and a host of others.
