EXCITEMENTS AS 12 IKORODU DIVISION PUBLIC SCHOOLS RECEIVE 600 SET OF CONJOINED CHAIRS AND TABLES FACILITATED BY REP BABAJIMI BENSON

There was great excitement across 12 selected public schools in Ikorodu Division today, as they received 600 sets of conjoined chairs and tables facilitated by Rep Babajimi Benson.

The furniture, we gathered was meant to create a more conducive learning environment for the public school students most of whom are confronted with inadequate chairs and tables.

Teachers and students of schools that benefitted from the school furniture support could not hide their joy as they expressed appreciation to the hard working federal lawmaker for the support.

The principals, teachers, and students were ecstatic to receive the classroom furniture, which will undoubtedly enhance learning and improve teaching facilities.

Benson expressed his deep joy for being able to facilitate the educational intervention, especially within the first week of the new year.

‘I’m thrilled to kick off the New Year with the successful distribution of over 600 sets of conjoined two-seater desks and chairs to public secondary schools in Ikorodu Federal Constituency’.

12 selected public secondary schools in Ikorodu Local Government and 5 LCDAs within Ikorodu Division benefitted from the furniture support. The recipient schools included Ikorodu Grammar School, Yewa Grammar School,
Ikorodu High School and Odokekere Community Junior School.

Others were, Abule-Eko Secondary School, Luwasa Community Secondary School, Lajo Community Secondary School and Reri Secondary School.

Similarly, Isawo Grammar School,
Agbede Grammar School, Ansarudeen Grammar School and Ifelodun High School also benefitted from the intervention.

Speaking further, Benson ‘extend my heartfelt gratitude to the members of iCare Foundation for their invaluable assistance in presenting the classroom furniture to the schools’.

The federal lawmaker noted that the initiative demonstrated his commitment to supporting education and empowering the next generation, while assuring his constituents of his commitment towards making a more positive impact in Ikorodu Federal Constituency.
