
Barely 72 hours after his formal installation as the Olori-Ilu of Fojege-Ajabiogofa Town, Prince Tajudeen Adebola Akinyemi Ajabiogofa, has paid a historic visit to the Anoko-Ogbonyari Royal Family of Ikorodu, Lagos State.
The visit, though unscheduled would be the first public appearance of the new Olori-Ilu after his installation and presentation of Staff of Office by the Akarigbo of Remo Land, Oba Babatunde Adewale Ajayi on Thursday, 3rd April.
Addressing the gathering, which held at the Akarigbo Anoko-Ogbonyari Royal Palace at Itunmori in Ikorodu, Lagos State, Prince Akinyemi expressed delight to be in the midst of his family members in Ikorodu.

He stated that, though the visit was unscheduled, he expressed appreciation to the leadership of the family in Ikorodu, led by the Olotu-General of Anoko-Ogbonyari Royal Family, Prince Jokotade Ogunbiyi for the warm reception.
Welcoming the Olori-Ilu on behalf of other leaders and family members, Prince Ogunbiyi noted that it was a great honour for th family to be hosting the new Olori-Ilu, for the first time, at her monthly family meeting.
Ogunbiyi further noted that the Anoko-Ogbonyari Royal Family, being the largest Royal Family in Yoruba Land boasts of the highest number of traditional rulers in its fold, while stating that the installation of Prince Tajudeen Adebola Akinyemi Ajabiogofa as Olori-Ilu of Fojege-Ajabiogofa Town has further increased the number of traditional rulers within the family.

Speaking further, Ogunbiyi noted that, one of the family members, Prince Adebowale Ogayemi Adefolayiga was also recently installed as the Lisa of Ikorodu, by His Royal Majesty, Oba Engr Kabiru Adewale Shotobi, Adegorunshen V.
A major highlight of the historic visit was the offering of prayers for a peaceful and prosperous reign for the Olori-Ilu by the Otunba Fuwase of Remo Land, Chief Niyi Banjoko.

The meeting climaxed with group photograph session with the Olori-Ilu and the family representatives.
