
Following the official flag-off of the 762 meters Itun-nla – Ajina road, the Ikorodu Local Government Supervisor for Works, Hon. Murishiku Adeniyi, popularly known as ‘Aroso’ has appealed to residents of Itun-nla and Ajina communities to ensure maximum cooperation with the contractors handling the road project for timely delivery of the road project.
Murishiku who is also a Councillorship aspirant for Ward C, which covers the areas noted that the Chairman’s gesture should be reciprocated with maximum cooperation.
He said, ‘Mr Chairman, we must commend you for the numerous projects you have embarked upon since you became the Chairman of Ikorodu Local Government’.
‘I just want to tell all the residents in Itun-nla that they should not disappoint the Chairman. And the only way we can do so is to monitor the project, make sure there are no hitches and that we cooperate with the contractors to deliver this project at the agreed time’, he added.
Shortly before taking the vote of thanks on behalf of the residents, Murishiku was formally introduced to the residents as a Councillorship aspirant for the area and was warmly received by residents.
The Council Chairman also commended ‘Aroso’ for playing significant roles, alongside the incumbent Councillor, Hon. Awolesi towards the flag-off of the road
project.
