The Executive Chairman of Ikorodu Local Government, Hon Wasiu Adeshina has sent a heartwarming new year message to residents.
Adeshina in his new year message, while congratulating residents for making it into 2025 also pledges a safer, more prosperous and better local government in the new year.
Adeshina’s message is reproduced below;
Year 2024 was a time of challenges, accomplishments, and progress. Working together with all and sundry to achieve a safer, more prosperous, and better Ikorodu has been outstanding.
In the New Year, we will build on these successes, embracing the challenges and opportunities ahead.
As such, it is essential that we all work on building a culture of compassion by devoting time and talents to helping others, making a positive difference in our society. Let’s jointly bring hope to those who are less privileged.
We have seen our brave men and women in uniform ensure the safety of lives and properties within their capacity in Ikorodu LGA; we are grateful for their selfless service and the peaceful environment we have enjoyed to that effect. Let’s continue to pray for their safety and the support of their families.
I encourage the good people of Ikorodu to give thanks to God for His many blessings and to reaffirm our commitment to peace and unity all year long.
