IDPIL, IKORODU DIVISION MONARCHS CELEBRATE ODOFIN ADEWUNMI OGUNSANYA AT 60

The Board of Trustees, Management Committees and Members of the Ikorodu Division Peace Initiative (IDPIL) has celebrated the Board of Trustees Chairman of the organization, Odofin Adewunmi Ogunsanya, SAN on his 60th birthday today.

The IDPIL celebrated Ogunsanya through a press release, jointly signed by the Executive Secretary of IDPIL, Otunba Ganiyu Olusegun Abiru and all Ikorodu Division Royal Fathers and was made available to Ikorodu Oga Radio.

Ikorodu Division Royal Fathers, led by the Ayangburen of Ikorodu and his counterparts across the Ikorodu Division communities extended their goodwill messages to the Odofin of Ikorodu Kingdom via the joint goodwill message, in appreciation of his Philanthropy and unprecedented support for the development of Ikorodu Division across all sectors through interventions in Security, Education and other critical sectors of the communities.

The 2-in-1 Congratulatory message tagged, Diamond Jubilee Felicitations read as follows;

‘We celebrate our Amiable and Indefatigable Board of Trustees Chairman, High Chief Adewunmi Adedeji Ogunsanya, SAN
(Odofin of Ikorodu Kingdom) on the occasion of his 60th Birthday Anniversary’.

‘Mr Chairman, you are an epitome of Visionary Leadership, Philanthropy and a Community Builder Per Excellence. This is wishing you a Happy Diamond Jubilee Celebration’, it added.

The message ended with with special royal prayers for the celebrant.

‘We pray that you will continue to age with Abundant Grace and in Sound Health as you continue in your service to God, Humanity and Ikorodu Division in particular’.

Odofin Adewunmi Ogunsanya, SAN who is also the Chairman of Multichoice Nigeria, owners of the DSTV and GOTV Brands has committed hundred of millions towards promoting peace and security in Ikorodu Division, through the IDPIL Local Joint Task Force (LJTF) which he personally funded.

Similarly, he also initiated an Annual N20 Million Naira Scholarship as Bursary Award for brilliant and indigent undergraduates across the Division. About 187 undergraduates benefitted from the maiden Edition of the scheme last year.

Preparations are in top gear for the second edition of the Scholarship and Bursary Award to be held in July.
