The umbrella body of all media practitioners in Ikorodu Division, Ikorodu Media Forum (IMF) felicitates with the Doyen of Community Journalism in Nigeria, Alh Monzor Olowosago, Publisher Oriwu Sun Newspaper on his 72nd Birthday.
The body in a Congratulatory statement signed by its Convener, Omo’ba ‘Peju Akinyemi, Founder & CEO Ikorodu Oga Radio, described Olowosago as a Pathfinder and Navigator of community media in Nigeria.
In the statement, Akinyemi stated that Olowosago blazed the trail with his Oriwu Sun Newspaper brand of community newsreel over 40 years ago, thus charting the path for generations of upcoming practitioners in the industry.
He further described Olowosago’s 72nd Birthday as a unique opportunity to celebrate his vision, tenacity and professional astuteness as a journalist.
