The Executive Chairman of Ikorodu North LCDA, Builder Adebisi Adeola Banjo has stated that his administration has touched many critical sections of the Council area in its Infrastructural drive.
Banjo stated this yesterday, on the sidelines of the grand-finale of the weeks-long project commissioning at the Council Secretariat in Isiwu.
He equally used the opportunity to give a brief account of stewardship.
‘We now boast a 40-bed Primary Health Center in Akaun, fully equipped and staffed. Thanks to the SDG office’s support and our council’s payroll initiative. We have a second of such a facility at Isiwu’, he said.
‘Our road infrastructure continues to expand with the commissioning of the Low-Cost Estate Road and the area office in Isiwu, which houses key council departments. The Agbede-Idera link bridge, which connects us with neighbouring communities, remains a landmark achievement, saving residents from the ordeal of traveling through Ogun State to access their own LCDA. Ongoing road projects will further ease transportation and stimulate economic growth’.
‘In security, we constructed the CP Strike Team annex office, reviving the once-deserted Araro community. This project has not only enhanced security but also garnered appreciation from neighbouring Emuren, Ogun State. I must commend CSP Godfrey for his unwavering support in achieving this feat’, he added.
‘In education, we have provided benches and lockers to primary schools across the LCDA, reconstructed blocks of classrooms at Africa Bethel School, and established a new primary school in Osansolu, providing vital access to education for children in that community’.
Continuing, he said, ‘As our administration enters its final year, we remain as committed as ever to delivering impactful projects that uplift the lives of our people. Our work is far from done, and with the prayers and support of this community, we shall continue to raise the bar for governance’.
‘Finally, I implore everyone present to continue praying for our leaders at both the state and national levels. As the great philosopher Aristotle once said, “The whole is greater than the sum of its parts.” We are all part of this great Nigerian project, and together we can build a future that reflects our highest aspirations’, he concluded.
