The Chairman, Senate Committee on Banking, Insurance and Other Financial Institutions, Senator Adetokunbo Mukhail Abiru, FCA has congratulated Ikorodu born Academia, Dr Abiodun Fatai-Abatan on his recent appointment as the acting Dean, Students’ Affairs, Lagos State University.
Abiru celebrated Dr Abatan through a formal congratulatory message, personally signed by him and made available to newsmen on Monday.
The Senator, representing Lagos East Senatorial District at the Senate also praised the remarkable contributions of Abatan to the body of knowledge.

On behalf of my family and the good people of the Lagos East Senatorial District, I heartily congratulate an erudite Scholar and illustrious son of Ikorodu, Dr. Abiodun Fatai-Abatan on his appointment as the acting Dean, Students’ Affairs, of the Lagos State University, LASU.
I am proud of the sterling accomplishments of Dr Fatai-Abatan in academia where he has made remarkable contributions to the body of knowledge. In the department of Political Science, where he taught as the Senior Lecturer, before this new role, Dr. Fatai-Abatan impacted the lives of many students and left an enviable legacy of excellence and dedication to duty.
Dr. Fatai-Abatan is an exemplary role model to many youth in the Ikorodu Division and beyond, who are aspiring to build an amazing career in academics and other professions.
On this major achievement, I join his family, friends and the people of Ikorodu division in celebrating with you.
