It has been torrent of felicitations from different parts of Ikorodu Local Government today, in celebration of the Golden Jubilee Birthday Anniversary of one of Ikorodu’s shining lights and former Secretary to Ikorodu Local Government, Com Japhet Odesanya.
While all the major Ikorodu Division WhatsApp Groups and social media platforms are already washed with goodwill messages, top political office holders have equally sent their felicitations to the veteran journalist.
Celebrating the man now popularly called Kolujo in the political circle, Chairman, Senate Committee on Banking, Insurance and Other Financial Institutions, Senator Mukhail Adetokunbo Abiru, FCA.
In his message Abiru wrote;
‘On behalf of the good people of the Lagos East Senatorial District, we congratulate Comrade Japhet Odesanya, on the occasion of his 50th birthday’.
‘Comrade Odesanya is an exemplary role model to many young people in Ikorodu and beyond. He has inspired many with his remarkable feats in media, civic space and politics.We are proud of his accomplishments’, he added.
‘On this milestone, we join his family, friends and numerous associates in wishing him a happy birthday. We pray that Almighty God grants him long life in sound health and prosperity. Ameen’, he concluded.
Similarly, Chairman, House Committee on Defence, Rep Babajimi Adegoke Benson in his Felicitations said, ‘I extend my warmest congratulations to my brother and former Secretary Ikorodu Local Government, Comrade Japhet Odesanya on the occasion of his golden jubilee’.
JB as fondly called also commended Japhet for his service to the community and nation at large.
‘Your commitment and dedication towards community and national development is truly inspiring’.
Concluding, Benson prayed that, ‘May this milestone mark the beginning of even greater achievements and blessings in your life. I wish you continued good health, happiness, and prosperity’.
