The Senator representing Lagos East Senatorial District, Senator Mukhail Adetokunbo Abiru, FCA, in the company of his guest, the Majority Leader of the 10th Senate, Senator (Dr.) Michael Opeyemi Bamidele, CON, on Friday, honored the former Lagos State House of Assembly Majority Leader, Hon Sanai Oyeniran Bolanle Agunbiade at his 60th birthday held in his Ikorodu residence.
The former Lagos State House of Assembly member, representing Ikorodu Constituency 1, was full of appreciation for the Senator’s gesture, particularly the honor of having the Senate Leader in attendance. The wife of the Senator, Mrs Feyisola Abiru, the Senator’s younger brother, Hon. Abdulateef Rotimi Abiru, and his wife, Dr. (Otunba) Saheed Oladapo Ibikunle, Alhaji Musiliu Sulaimon (Ola 4), Media aide to the Senator, Mr. Enitan Olukotun, Senator’s Personal Assistant, Mr. Lade Farayibi, were among dignitaries who graced the occasion.
In his remarks, Hon. Agunbiade described the Senator as a man he has tremendous respect for. He saluted Senator Abiru’s camaraderie, which is fostering unity and harmony among all stakeholders.
“We are proud of him as our Senator in Ikorodu and Lagos East Senatorial District as a whole. Thank you very much for this great honor, and also for bringing the Leader of the 10th Senate along. Today, I am not celebrating but rather having a thanksgiving for God’s faithfulness and mercy in the last 60 years of my life.
