Encomiums have continued to pour in for the Speaker, House of Reps, Rt Hon Femi Gbajabiamila over his recent appointment as the Chief of Staff to the President, by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Tinubu made the announcement on Friday when he received the Progressive Governors’ Forum of the ruling All Progressives Congress APC, who paid him a Congratulatory visit at the Aso Rock Villa.
Reacting to Gbajabiamila’s latest appointment, an Ikorodu Division APC Chieftain and Environmental Consultant, Otunba Amid Adekunle Oduborisa, FNES has described the appointment as a welcome development.
He also described Gbajabiamila as a round peg in a round hole, considering his over 20 years wealth of experience as a federal lawmaker and lately, Speaker of the House of Representatives.
‘For me, Gbajabiamila’s appointment is one of the best decisions that our President has made, so far. I believe the choice of a Chief of Staff is critical to the effective coordination of the President’s activities and he has made the right choice’, he said’.
He added that, ‘Gbajabiamila is a thoroughbred politician and legal practitioner whose wealth of legislative dexterity and wide exposure would definitely add great value to the Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Presidency’.
Oduborisa further expressed confidence in the the capacity of Gbajabiamila to excel in his latest appointment, by adding great value to the current administration.
Gbajabiamila, current Nigeria’s House of Reps Speaker will formally resume office as President Tinubu’s Chief of Staff on 14th June after the proclamation of the 10th National Assembly by the President.
