The Executive Governor of Lagos State, Mr Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu showed off his football skill yesterday at the Ita Elewa Youth Center in Ikorodu, by scoring a goal against Hon Babajimi Benson, member representing Ikorodu federal Constituency at the House of Reps, who facilitated the project.
Gov Sanwo-Olu joined Hon Benson on the football pitch of the newly commissioned youth center shortly after he formally commissioned the centre.
The 2-man match, between Governor Sanwo-Olu and Hon Benson saw the governor scoring a goal against Hon Benson who was a keeper in the ceremonial flag-off match.
Speaking earlier, at the commissioning, Gov Sanwo-Olu noted that the youth sport and digital centre project facilitated by Hon Benson was in line with one of the THEMES agenda of his administration, aimed at using sport as a platform for youth and talent development.
He concluded by commending Hon Benson for attracting such project to Ikorodu federal constituency towards the development of youths in Ikorodu Division.
