The Chairman, House of Reps Committee on Defence, Rep Babajimi Benson has said that, residents of Ikorodu Federal Constituency should gear up for more dividends of democracy from him.
Benson gave the assurances yesterday shortly after the formal commissioning of the newly rehabilitated Lucky Fibre-Erikorodo Road.
‘This is the result of turning in massive votes for Mr President during the 2023 Presidential Elections. We asked for Infrastructural development and that is what we are witnessing today. And, we aren’t seeing nothing yet. We still have many more projects to be commissioned from the last 2024 budget’, he said.
‘2025 will usher in the greatest development that would come to Ikorodu in the recent time’, he added.
Benson also spoke on his motivation for delivering massive Infrastructural development projects to his constituents.
The Constituents made me, the leadership made me. They elected us and they did so overwhelmingly. So, the dividends of democracy is the currency owe them’, he added.
